Airline Security
Talk radio puts me to sleep and I listen to it all night long. The consensus seems to be that it is people not things that need to watchful of terrorism and I agree.
One way cash tickets from men from certain countries should raise alarm bells. It's not all about the machines. |

Amen
I agree. Any talk about spending more money on security monitoring devices etc. is ridiculous. What we already have in place would have worked just fine if the "people" had not screwed up. No amount of machinery can overcome the massive failure to implement security measures that ocurred Christmas day.

Passengers Save the Day
It was passengers not airline security that saved the day when on a plane heading to Vegas a man tried to open the airplane doors! The passengers restrained him and the pilots diverted the flight to Denver. Now its terrorists and kooks we need to be on the look out for. Driving is starting to look very good.

Pat down at the airport
My mother recently flew down from Seattle, she said they patted down each passenger. Overkill? Who knows, but as long as we are safe, it works.
