Undercover Boss

Of course I am looking forward to the Superbowl tomorrow. I have my hot wings and mozzarella sticks ready to go. But I am also looking forward to the new show CBS is airing after the big game. Undercover Boss sends CEO's into the ranks of their own companies to get an up close and personal view of their company and employees. It looks good. The first episode is the CEO of Waste Management right here in Southern California. I wonder how he feels about port-a- potties now?

Not Bad

I watched the show and enjoyed it enough to plan on watching again. It was interesting to see the CEO experience first hand the results of his own cost cutting measures and productivity goals. My question? Can a CEO make improvements on behalf of the workforce without effecting the bottom line - profit. I definitely saw some eyeball rolling amongst the board members when the CEO announced changes he hoped to make.
