Glendale Americana

Stopped by the Americana and visited some of the shops. I am visiting from Washington state and just wanted to see if the economy has picked up any at this mall. It hadn't! The girls & guys met you at the door and were eager to have a real live person enter their store it seems. I almost felt
like I had to make a purchase, which never bothered me in good times.

Had a wonderful Italian lunch and also took a look at one 2 bedroom unit in the building. Quite nice, but too small for most people, not even an additional den or office which surprised me, especially considering the price.

Rumor has it Glendale’s Americana condos will be closing 12/23 – is it true? Have they met presale requirements?

Yes, there have been closings at the Americana.

Interestingly I was there recently on a Saturday with a girlfriend from W. Hollywood. We had looked at Pasadena condos and then stopped @ the Americana for lunch. I asked her if she wanted to check out the condos @ the Americana and she said "yes". Although, there were open house signs out, they weren't available for showings until later that day. Kind of surprising that there are limited weekend showings when accompanied by a Realtor.
