Default Notices

I rarely read the classifieds in the paper although I do the crossword puzzles usually found in the section. I decided for some reason to actually read through the notices section and was overwhelmed by the listings for Notice of Default. It really humanized the tragedy of people losing their homes. I can only imagine how many notices were posted last year or even six months ago.

It's unfortunate that the notices are posted in the paper, some homeowners are able to make up (reinstate) and the public notice can be humiliating as it is often seen by friends and neighbors.

Yes, no matter where you point the blame, these are real family's losing their home.

I agree that the default notices shouldn't have to posted in the paper.

I am certain that the people losing their homes are aware of it; I worry that the renters of these homes be notified so they don't continue to pay rent to a deadbeat landlord.
